Quote:

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.”--Martin Luther King

The Entry

She walked into the room
She had it all
A lug nut nose ring
A snake tattoo slithering down her arm
Flame-red hair with a purple stripe
From nape to brow
An embroidered silk top that revealed
Her deep cleavage
Green pumps that revealed
Her perfect ankles
A black leather jacket strategically draped
Over her shoulder
Tiger-printed tight pants
She walked into the room
She didn’t say a word
She may have been looking for something
Or somebody
She looked dangerous
She fit right in
