The Insane Lover's Question
how did it
come to this
that I became
an insane lover
of the world's madness &
that the ordinary might
bore me to sleep &
that the sleepers might
repel me in my dreams
as I toss through the night?
Terry Simons is the founder of Round Bend Press Books and Round Bend Press Detritus.
