A couple of years ago I would have awarded Sam the once highly-coveted "Idiot of the Week" award presented by Round Bend Press, a special award for especially idiotic politicians.
Alas, so many of them were deserving that I could no longer afford to give all of them their due. I had to cut the trophies out of my budget. I couldn't keep up with the demand.
